Solutions to issues when starting your mission

1) I am not getting a response when I send a message to the Urban Missions Whatsapp number provided.

It is very rare that there is ever an issue with our messaging interface, so if you are not getting a response on Whatsapp, this is most likely because you have saved our number incorrectly. This happens to a lot of players! Make sure to copy and paste the number from the email into your contacts on your phone.

You will know you have the correct number if the number's Whatsapp profile picture is of our logo. If you have done all of the above but you are still not receiving a response from our number, check that you are in a place with decent signal and are definitely getting double ticks when you send messages.


2) I keep being told that the team name I have chosen already exists and that I need to create another one

Our system does not like symbols! If you have created a team name that includes any symbols, this team name will be made active, but you will be booted out immediately. The team will still be running, but you will not be able to access it. You need to create a team name using letters only. If you have created a team name and accidentally used symbols, this team name will now be running in the background but will be locked to you. Please create a completely new team name without any symbols and this should work.


3) I have not received any information on how to start my game and I have already turned up to the start location

All players are sent a confirmation email from Design My Night with all of the information on how to start their game. This email is sent immediately after booking, so you will have received this well in advance of your game. Please check your spam inbox and deleted items to make sure you did not miss this or accidentally deleted it.

Please check your spam inbox and that you provided us with the correct email address when you booked your mission.
